Smoking was a major part of Boliver’s life. It was a part of him like his head was a part of him. And he was a sexy smoker if you know what I mean, but it was the major factor in cutting his life to the quick. He tried seriously a couple of times to quit, but could never conquer it and frankly did not really want to conquer it. He loved it. He was obsessed with smoking. Smoking owned him and he owned smoking. It was his final remaining vice in life and turned out to be the only thing he was able to do up to the day he died of pancreatic cancer. In all other ways possible he was the picture of health according to the witch doctors. Over a very short six month period Boliver went from a sexy vibrant strong punk rocker to a old weak man. Then he became a skeleton and died.
Cigarette smoking doubles the risk of pancreatic cancer. In fact, some scientists have estimated that one in four, or one in five cases of pancreatic cancer are caused by smoking cigarettes. Smoking is also associated with an early age diagnosis.
<…like at 47 fucking years old for example…>
Simply put, cigarette smoking is the leading preventable cause of pancreatic cancer.
